  • President, HIP, Aerospace & Defence, FTSE 250

    The client was looking to expand their HIP division internationally and needed to find a UK-based President. They selected us as partners due to our expertise in this sector. Following a global search, they chose a female senior leader who had an excellent track record of driving global revenue growth and increasing EBIT through embedding a high-performance culture and commercial and operational excellence.

  • Chief Design Engineer, Global Aerospace, NYSE

    A US-owned organisation that was growing rapidly across a number of sites due to a growing order book wanted to upgrade their design engineering capability to overhaul out-of-date processes. They ideally wanted a diverse hire based in the UK and appointed us as their trusted aerospace search partner. We undertook a search of the European market and identified a female engineer from a UK PE-backed organisation, perfect for the role.

    Following a failed search by a large executive search company, we were asked to take this project on. We realised the issue was that three of our client’s competing businesses were ‘off limits’ to the previous search company. We undertook an exhaustive search for potential targets, including competitors, and leveraged our existing network. Within four weeks we shortlisted five candidates, all of whom the CEO felt were hireable, and the ultimately successful candidate was selected from a key competitor.

    This electronics manufacturer needed an experienced leader from within their sector to develop a five-year plan to upgrade their product suite and sharpen their commercial proposition and go-to-market strategy.  We mapped their direct competitors within the European market and provided a strong slate of general managers from businesses of diverse sizes, and they ultimately hired a candidate from a smaller, agile business.

    This organisation had just undergone a major CAPEX investment which introduced increased automation and a reduction in workforce.  Morale was low and they needed to re-engage the employee base and ensure they were working effectively.  We undertook a search of organisations within a 100-mile radius from a range of manufacturing sectors and identified a highly capable individual from the automotive sector, who went on to achieve success in the role
